Funded by the United Nations Democracy Fund and the Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies (CIHRS), in partnership with Réseau Euromed France (REF) , Instants Vidéo and Ligue de L’enseignement, this two-year project aims to empower a new generation of change-makers from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to lead human rights initiatives within their communities. The forty beneficiaries, representing twelve countries in the region, will be provided essential skills centred around human rights, civil society work and community mobilisation. Furthermore, they will be given the opportunity to exchange ideas with experienced civil society actors operating in an open and democratic context.
