The Egyptian Journalists Syndicate Head, “Makram Mohamed Ahmed”; Opens The Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies conference titled “Egypt on the Way to Parliamentary and Presidential Elections 2010 – 2011… International and Regional Media Coverage Experiences for General Elections”, that takes place on Saturday, 16 January 2010.
The meeting comes to discuss the proposed press charter for organizing the work of journalists while covering the general elections in Egypt; prepared by Salah Eissa – Cairo newspaper Editor in Chief.
Other topics will also be discussed during the conference; including the Egyptian expertise during the 2005 Presidential and Parliamentary elections and the international expertise for media performance during election coverage, and the Charter of the press, in addition to the role of the Internet and new media in the general elections in Egypt .
