The Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies and Carnegie Endowment for International Peace’s workshop on the promotion of human rights in Egypt

Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies (CIHRS) and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (CEIP) have come together to organize a workshop entitled

“Advancing Human Rights in Egypt: Recent Lessons, Current Realities, Future Challenges”

to be held in Brussels on November 14-15, 2013.

The workshop will cover the situation of human rights in Egypt since January 25, 2011, including challenges and opportunities for human rights promotion. Participants include representatives from a number of Egyptian, international and supporting organizations working in the field of human rights.
